Our tour begins after a brief check in at the Miracle Mile Shops at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, where we provide a breakfast snack prior to boarding. Your drive to Grand Canyon West will take you across Hoover Dam and into the state of Arizona. Make sure you have your camera ready for pictures of the Dam, the under-construction by-pass bridge, Lake Mead, and the mighty Colorado River. Be on the look out for fortification hill (built during world war two to protect the Dam) and the big horn sheep that make this area there habitat.
One of the most beautiful sections of travel is the remote area known as Black Canyon which has played a significant role in the development of the American Southwest, from the ancient Anasazi Indians to the steamboat landings to its present day use, as part of the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. As you leave this area you will pass through the Mohave Desert leading to the 900 year old Joshua Tree Forest, one of the largest of its kind.
Arriving at Grand Canyon West you will be greeted by the Indians of the Hualapai Nation, who welcome you to their home land. They look forward to sharing their culture and history with you.

Helicopter Flight
Soar like a golden eagle through the Grand Canyon past
Guano Point, descending below the rim of the canyon to Quartermaster Point. This 15 to 20 minute flight provides sights and views of rock formations and the Colorado River only available with this exclusive tour. Flights are narrated and are flown in the most advanced state of the art helicopters built today. Only the Eco-Star and A-Star helicopters are used, ensuring a smooth, stable flight with all forward facing seats. A great option on its own and those who want a little more of the helicopter experience and do not wish to take the Colorado River
boat ride. Add the
Skywalk for an additional $35.00 per person.

TOUR PICK UP:
Approximately 6:30 AM - Your exact pick up time and location will be provided at the time of booking or via e-mail. We, also, request that you call us the day prior to travel as your pick up location at your hotel may change due to construction, repairs or other reasons beyond our control. If you are not picked up within 5 minutes of your scheduled pick time, please call us at 702-655-6060. Do not wait!

DRESS AND WEATHER:
Weather at the Grand Canyon is very unpredictable. We recommend you dress for out door activities, layering is always best along with walking shoes. We, also, recommend a hat, sunscreen, lip balm and sun glasses.
CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES:
We will be happy to make changes (dates & times) with ample notice and subject to availability. Cancellations outside of 48 hours prior to pick up time will result in a $35 per person processing fee. Cancellations inside of 48 hours from pick up there will be no refund, however you will be able to travel within one year from your original travel date. No shows will be responsible for the entire cost of the tour.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
GCTCO will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items left in the vehicle. We will not be liable for delays due to weather, traffic conditions, or any acts of God, Accidents, mechanicals or any force beyond our control. GCTCO will endeavor to maintain the itinerary as presented in our literature, web site and submissions by agents or employees however will not be held liable for any deviation from such.
SECURITY DIRECTIVES:
Due to Homeland Security Directives we CANNOT CARRY LUGGAGE across Hoover Dam. All customers are subject to search at the security check points. Purses, fanny packs and small back packs are permitted. Please call us at 702-655-6060 for questions, concerns or suggestions.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
All minors must be accompanied by an adult. This tour is not recommended for infants and small children. Grand Canyon West is not handicapped accessible. Please consider the South Rim Grand Canyon Bus Tour. If you have any type of medical condition, please check with your doctor prior to booking.
